About time I take backing up personal digital files seriously!

I received ( at long last, I'll never buy again from 5eme avenue) my Iomega StorCenter Network Hard Drive Gigabit 300 Go which I intend to use for backup purposes. Still wondering wether I'll go rsync or use Iomega's software, plus I haven't figured out why the desktop computer (Em.'s) doesn't work on the network anymore ... bloody Windows :P

It is the second computer appliance that I received with several power cable in the box, henceforth only one suitable for our situation. I guess the logic behind this is standardization of packaging to save money and improve rotation but ... what a waste! I am suprised no greenie has raised the issue with the computer industry yet.
