I did it!

It will take some getting use to but it looks nice (says the man who turned every special effect off in Gutsy).

There are a couple of hardware issues that I haven't figured out yet (no more than with Ubuntu mind you, and sound related as well :P) despite my desk-box being Windows Vista Capable.

Jkx's tip did the job but I don't know why (i.e. I don't understand what I did :P).

I installed the K Lite Codecs, and for now Windows Media Player does what I want it to!

And last but not least I followed Jeff Atwood advice to make Vista more responsive:

  1. Turn off Windows Defender
  2. Turn off Windows Firewall
  3. Disable System Protection
  4. Disable UAC

I should also try to figure out why I am thrown into the Windows Boot Manager at startup but I can't be bothered right now!

Inline Search made it into clickx, a Belgian (flemish) magazine.

I was also contacted by PC-Welt a German publication. Inline Search still has some decent momentum, despite us having less time to work on it than we would like.

We have been talking with Dean Hachamovitch about IEforge but nothing came out of it so far :P

I have started reading Lean Software Development - An Agile Toolkit which I heard about a long time ago (see. 20070105) and that Raphael lent me. It is very interesting!
