Everybody should read (parents or not) The inverse power of praise. I believe it applies to all stages of life, not only to kids.

Apparently Malcolm Gladwell is working on a new book. While we wait watch him talk about Genius! Illuminated Talent VS Stubborn Hard Work ... which would you pick ;)

Along the same line, the evolution of expertise is a good watch too. Elizabeth Lane Lawley has an annoying tick when she speaks ehh but you get over it.

She mentions her love for Andrew Keen :P and this panel which is also interesting. Weinberger is good but not as entertaining as he was during his Google talk.
