Eyes on the coming section at Boilers.

We are back (we have actually been back a few days but I was not in a writing mood). Back from what? A 9 000 km long road trip. I'll just sum it up in main cities and stops:

Lille - Amiens - Bayonne - Guetary - Madrid - Aranjuez - Granada - Algeciras - Tanger - Asilah - Larache - Moulay-Bousselham - Plage des Nations - Salé - Rabat - Skhirat - Sablette - Casablanca - Azemmour - El Jadida - Oualidia - Safi - Souira - Essaouira - Imsouane - Tamri - Taghazoute - Aourir - Agadir - Tifnite - Tiznit - Aglou - Mirleft - Sidi Ifni - Guelmin - Plage Blanche (Bissafne) - Bou Jerif - Tighmert - Tafraoute - Ait Baha - Taroudant - Imouzzer-des-Ida-Outanane - Tetouan - Ceuta - Tarifa - Barbate de Franco - Cadiz - Sevilla - Cordoba

Em. has got a photo set on Flickr : France to Morocco.

Obviously there was a fair bit of surfing done and a lot of big city avoidance as well. We were on the road and most importantly by the sea :P

When we got back I read an article in the Sydney Morning Herald about Alain de Botton's Art of Travel. I guess I want to dwell on the only frustration of the trip: not getting to mingle with the people i.e. experience morocco through its people.

While away I started reading SICP. I would call it a tough but interesting read, which means I might be done with it in a couple of years :P On a more pragmatic front, Buzzwords in Python by Charles Merriam is an interesting watch.
