Figuratively speaking, I was in Cuba for a couple of days ;) I am in a reading fiction mood.

Unfortunately I started quenching my thirst with La douleur du dollar written by Zoé Valdés which I found badly written and vulgar. The story was compelling enough to make me finish it but it is probably the only Valdès I'll read!

Hemingway's Across the river and into the trees which I just finished is leaving me speechless. If you live near Lille ... borrow it from me ;) You won't regret it!

Next L'élégance du hérisson which a friend from Paris recommended and which I borrowed on COlivri.
